Zach Dagel considers himself very fortunate to have been born and raised in Northern Minnesota. His love for the outdoors was prominent at an early age. When he was fifteen, he started guiding services on Sugar Lake, South of Grand Rapids. He continued guiding until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.

After doing four years of honorable service around the world, which included survival training, Zach returned to Northern Minnesota to continue his passion for fishing and hunting in the great outdoors. Zach is familiar with the many lakes in the area and would love to offer his fishing knowledge to YOU!

"I also offer Early Spring Rainy River trips for some of the finest spring Walleyes and Sturgeon fishing you'll see anywhere. Multiple fish within the 26 to 32'' range are not uncommon or are 150 fish days! March 1st-April 14Th is when the season is open on the Rainy River. It just depends on when the river breaks up for it to be fishable. Call for more information on this trip or on how the river is doing."
